Welcome to the Green Jay Library!

 My name is  Connie Leanos De Hoyos and I have been an educator for 19 years and a total of 25 years with the PSJA District. I started with PSJA as a student at Sorensen Elementary  in the first grade migrating from Idaho and graduated from PSJA in 1991. As an employee I have worked as a substitute, then clerk, then secretary, a dyslexia assistant teacher, then started my teaching career at Sorensen Elementary where I taught for eight years. I am now a Librarian at Geraldine Palmer Elementary where my pride now resides. This year 2023-2024 marks my tenth year at Palmer and I wear my colors proudly and my badge of reading  with great loyalty. Reading is a passion that comes from within, I believe when a teacher loves what she does and models reading with excitement. love and will; the spark of reading is brought out in children. My legacy is to be that librarian that brought out the life in stories creating a magical and memorable time in my students (patrons) lives.
